Non-Paying Bidder & Fraud Policy
Non-Paying Bidder What happens when your high bidder doesn't pay? Everyone loses out, and that is not what LaundroMatic is about. Non-Paying Bidders are irresponsible and not assets to our community. A Non-Paying Bidder is defined as a high bidder that, after 7 days of your auction's close, either does not respond to your inquiries OR gives you the impression you are not going to recieve payment. Please contact the staff after 7 days but not past 21 days of your auction's close. If they still refuse to respond or pay, a warning will be administered. A bidder who feels they have recieved an unfair warning may appeal using a form linked from the Policy Commission page. Their warning will stay on record unless it is appealed successfully.

Fraud
Fraud is defined as a dishonest, untruthful way of taking advantage of another user. The type of fraud that is the most detrimental to our community occurs when a seller takes a buyer's payment without sending the item. If this has happened to you, please report the incident here. We will do our best to resolve the incident. If a user is indeed found guilty of this type of fraud, they will be banned from using our services and further punishment may be administered.
Other types of fraud exist in our community as well. If you think you have been a victim of another type of fraudulent activity, pleasereport the fraud to our Rules Committee section and report the incident. If found guilty, the offending user will either be suspended, banned, or warned.
We are not in any way responsible for deals transacted on the bulletin boards and/or outside of the auction format. Such trades are your own responsibility.
